Save Our Science supports the NETU's petition to ensure safe and fair workloads at QUT.

Workloads are the baseline standard used by professional and academic staff to demonstrate how well we can serve students, research partners, and the wider community. The table below compares university workloads across Australia and highlights the significant gap between QUT and our peers. So, as much as we love our jobs, the current workload is unsustainable. This creates an environment of staff burnout, ultimately affecting the quality of students' education and the vital research conducted at QUT.
